Useful to review when access below the filter floor is restricted. Provide the mounting hole, floor thickness and available clearance.
Specification and drawing checklist
These are the inputs needed to assess the screen. Final dimensions, material, slot and tolerances follow the accepted quotation and approved drawing.

North American drawings: keep the drawing's original units. Identify inches or millimeters, flow in GPM or m³/h, and pressure difference in psi, bar or kPa. Mark the complete pipe thread or flange standard where relevant.
For North American enquiries, write the complete requested NPT size and form. A nominal pipe thread size does not describe the screening head diameter.
A thread such as 3/4 in NPT or 1 in NPT is an enquiry input, not a confirmed stock model or substitute for BSP.

Agree the order requirements
Include quantity and destination together with the drawing revision. Specify any material traceability, inspection, packing, sample or delivery requirement.
The quotation defines the supply boundary, technical acceptance points and commercial terms.

Can I request a 3/4-inch or 1-inch NPT nozzle?
Yes, state the requested size and whether the connection is male or female, together with the head and mounting dimensions. Final feasibility and dimensions are confirmed in the quotation drawing.
Are NPT and BSP connections interchangeable?
No. Identify the exact thread standard and connection form on the drawing so the correct mating interface can be reviewed.
When should I consider toggle bolt mounting?
It can be useful where underside access is limited. The actual mounting hole, plate thickness, locking arrangement and installation envelope must be reviewed.
Can a nozzle be selected by slot size alone?
No. Media retention, open area, head dimensions, flow per nozzle, pressure drop and backwash duty all affect the selection.
